What Is Chargily Pay?
Chargily Pay is an Algerian payment gateway that lets online stores take payments from the two cards Algerians use online: the EDAHABIA card from Algerie Poste and the CIB card issued by Algerian banks.
The customer pays on Chargily's own secure payment page and then comes back to your store. You never see their card details, and you do not need to build anything.
Key Features
- EDAHABIA and CIB: Customers pay with the Algerie Poste card many Algerians already hold, or with a CIB bank card, on the same page.
- Algerian Dinar Payments: Payments are charged in Algerian dinars, which keeps your accounts simple.
- Arabic, French and English: The payment page opens in your customer's language.
- Confirmed Automatically: The order is confirmed when the customer comes back, and also when they pay and close the page without coming back.
- Nothing to Set Up on Chargily's Side: Your store tells Chargily where to send the customer and the payment confirmation by itself.
- Test Before Going Live: Try the whole flow with Chargily's test mode before taking real payments.
Built for the Algerian Market
Cash on delivery is the norm in Algeria, and it costs stores in refused parcels and money that arrives late. Offering EDAHABIA and CIB next to it lets customers who prefer to pay online do so before the order ships.
Supported Regions and Currencies
Chargily Pay operates in Algeria and charges in Algerian dinars. It is a strong fit for any store whose customers are in Algeria. If your store is priced in another currency, Trinavo converts the order total to dinars using your exchange rates before the customer pays.
Integration with Trinavo
Trinavo provides a native integration with Chargily Pay. Your store is ready for it out of the box: there is nothing to install, no developer to hire, and no custom work to commission.
To connect it, open your payment settings, choose Chargily Pay, and paste the secret keys from your Chargily Pay dashboard. You can keep your test key and live key side by side and move between them with a single switch.
Refunds are made from your Chargily Pay dashboard.
Security and Compliance
Card details are entered on Chargily's payment page, so they never reach your store.
Before an order is marked as paid, your store checks the payment directly with Chargily, including that the amount paid matches the order. Every confirmation Chargily sends is signed with your secret key, and one that is not is refused, which means nobody can mark an order as paid by tampering with a page or a message.
Getting Started
Create an account at Chargily Pay and copy your secret keys from the Developers Corner of your dashboard. You can test straight away, and Chargily verifies your account before you take real payments. Then open payment settings in your Trinavo store, select Chargily Pay, paste your keys, and you are ready to take payments.
If you sell to customers in Algeria, Chargily Pay lets them pay with the cards they already have. Your Trinavo store is already prepared for it, so turning it on is a matter of minutes rather than a project.
