What Is Paymera?
Paymera is a payment service provider operating in Syria. The Paymera eGate is a hosted payment gateway that lets merchants accept online payments from card holders on the Paymera network and partner Syrian banks. Customers are redirected to a secure Paymera-hosted page, enter their card details, confirm with an OTP sent to their registered mobile, and return to your store once the transaction is complete.
Key Features
- Hosted payment page: Customers enter card details on Paymera's secure page, so sensitive data never touches your servers.
- OTP verification: Payments are confirmed with a one-time password sent by SMS to the cardholder, with up to 3 attempts and a Resend option.
- Server-side trigger callback: Paymera pings a merchant-defined trigger URL the moment the user completes the flow, so your order can be reconciled even if the customer closes the browser.
- Status polling API: A dedicated endpoint returns the live payment status (Pending, Accepted, Failed, Cancelled) along with the bank reference number (RRN) for reconciliation.
- Reversal support: Cancel an accepted payment server-side through the cancel-payment endpoint.
- Saved cards (optional): If enabled, returning customers see their previously used cards for faster checkout.
- Bilingual checkout: Paymera's hosted page is available in English and Arabic.
Supported Regions and Currencies

The platform processes amounts as integers in Syrian Pound. Production access is requested through one of Paymera's partner banks, which provisions the merchant and whitelists the merchant's public IP for production API calls.
How Trinavo Integrates with Paymera
Trinavo provides a seamless integration with Paymera eGate using the hosted-redirect flow. Once activated in your Trinavo dashboard, the Paymera payment option appears automatically at checkout. When a customer selects Paymera, a payment request is created server-side using HTTP Basic authentication, and the customer is redirected to the Paymera-hosted card-entry and OTP confirmation page.
The integration handles the full payment lifecycle including payment creation, secure redirection, status verification on return, server-side trigger reconciliation, and reversals. Merchants simply need to configure their Paymera Terminal ID, API username, and API password — separately for test (egate-t.paymera.cc) and production (egate.paymera.cc) — to get started.
By offering Paymera on your Trinavo store, you give your Syrian customers a familiar, locally trusted card-payment experience backed by the Paymera network and its partner banks.
