What Is SwiftPayIQ?
SwiftPayIQ is an Iraqi payment platform, based in Baghdad, that lets online merchants take card payments. The customer pays on SwiftPayIQ's secure page with a Qi Card, Visa or Mastercard, and the payment goes through a licensed Iraqi payment gateway. SwiftPayIQ never holds the merchant's money.
How It Works for Your Customers
- The customer chooses SwiftPayIQ at checkout.
- SwiftPayIQ's payment page opens in a new tab, where they pay by card.
- Your store's order page updates on its own once the payment goes through, and the order is marked as paid.
Supported Regions and Currencies
SwiftPayIQ serves Iraq and charges in Iraqi dinar (IQD), in whole dinars. If your store sells in another currency, Trinavo converts the order total into IQD using your store's exchange rates.
Integration with Trinavo
SwiftPayIQ is built into Trinavo's payment methods, so there is nothing to install and no code to write. You connect your own SwiftPayIQ account with its secret key.
The integration covers:
- Checkout: SwiftPayIQ appears as a payment option at your checkout.
- Payment confirmation: Trinavo confirms each payment through SwiftPayIQ's signed notifications and regular status checks.
- Test mode: a SwiftPayIQ test key lets you try the full flow before taking real payments.
- Refunds: SwiftPayIQ handles refunds through its support team, case by case.
Getting Started
- Open a SwiftPayIQ account: sign up at swiftpayiq.com on a plan with API access, and complete their business verification.
- Add your secret key: in your Trinavo dashboard, open Payment Methods, choose SwiftPayIQ, and enter the secret key from your SwiftPayIQ dashboard. A test key lets you try the flow first; a live key takes real payments.
- Connect the webhook: copy the Webhook URL shown in the SwiftPayIQ settings in Trinavo. In the SwiftPayIQ dashboard, open Developers, then Webhooks, add that URL, and copy the signing secret it shows back into Trinavo.
