What Is Wayl?
Wayl is an Iraqi payments platform for online merchants and social sellers. The customer pays on Wayl's own payment page, with the methods Wayl offers your store, which can include Qi Card, Iraqi wallets such as FIB, FastPay and ZainCash, and Visa or Mastercard.
How It Works for Your Customers
- The customer chooses Wayl at checkout.
- They are taken to Wayl's payment page and pay with the method they prefer.
- Wayl sends them back to your store, and the order is marked as paid once Wayl confirms the payment.
Supported Regions and Currencies
Wayl serves Iraq and charges in Iraqi dinar (IQD), in whole dinars. If your store sells in another currency, Trinavo converts the order total into IQD using your store's exchange rates.
Wayl's minimum payment is 1,000 IQD, so Trinavo shows Wayl at checkout only for orders of 1,000 IQD or more.
Integration with Trinavo
Wayl is built into Trinavo's payment methods, so there is nothing to install and no code to write. You connect your own Wayl store, and the payment goes straight from Wayl to you.
The integration covers:
- Checkout: Wayl appears as a payment option at your checkout for eligible orders.
- Payment confirmation: Trinavo confirms each payment through Wayl's signed notifications and checks the payment with Wayl before marking an order as paid.
- No webhook setup: every payment carries its own secure notification address, so there is nothing to copy into Wayl.
- Refunds: refund a Wayl order from your Trinavo dashboard (Wayl's minimum refund is 1,000 IQD).
- Sandbox mode: test the flow on Wayl's test environment before taking real payments.
Getting Started
- Get a verified Wayl store: sign up at wayl.io and complete Wayl's store verification. Wayl only creates payment links for verified stores.
- Get your API key from Wayl.
- Add it to Trinavo: in your dashboard, open Payment Methods, choose Wayl, and enter your API key. The Test button checks the key with Wayl.
