Send Orders on WhatsApp

Let customers send their order to your WhatsApp with one tap — no payment gateway required

The Checkout Your Customers Already Live In

For a huge share of stores — especially across the Middle East, North Africa, and emerging markets — the real order doesn't close on a payment page. It closes in a WhatsApp chat. Customers browse the store, then message the owner to confirm sizes, ask about delivery, agree on cash on delivery, and finalize. That conversation is the checkout.

The problem is everything before that message. The customer screenshots a product, types out what they want from memory, forgets the variant, leaves off the quantity, and the store owner spends three messages just reconstructing the order. Multiply that by every order, every day, and a channel that should be your fastest is your most error-prone.

Send Orders on WhatsApp closes that gap. After a customer places an order, they see one button: Send order on WhatsApp. They tap it, WhatsApp opens with the entire order already written out, and they press send. The complete, accurate order lands on your store's number — and the conversation you were going to have anyway starts from a clean, confirmed summary instead of a guessing game.

How It Works

It's deliberately simple, because simple is what gets used:

  1. You turn it on in Checkout Settings and enter your store WhatsApp number
  2. A customer places an order — paid online, or with no online payment at all
  3. They tap "Send order on WhatsApp" on the order confirmation page
  4. WhatsApp opens with the order pre-written and addressed to your number
  5. They press send — and you receive the order, ready to confirm

There's no app to install, no integration to authorize, no API keys, and no message-sending fees. It uses WhatsApp's own click-to-chat link, so it works on every phone and desktop where WhatsApp already runs.

What the Customer Sends You

The button doesn't just open a blank chat — it writes the whole order for the customer, exactly as it appears in their order details:

  • Order number, so you can find it instantly in your admin
  • Every item with its quantity and price
  • Chosen options like color, size, or any product variant
  • Custom fields the customer filled in — a gamertag, an engraving message, a delivery note
  • The order total
  • An optional greeting line you can set, like "Hello, I'd like to confirm my order:"

Because the text is generated from the real order, what you receive matches what's in your store to the cent. No retyping, no forgotten variant, no "which size again?"

Built for the No-Gateway Store

This is where it shines. Plenty of stores don't run an online payment gateway at all — they sell cash on delivery, by bank transfer, or simply settle every order in chat. For them, a traditional "pay now" checkout is a dead end.

Send Orders on WhatsApp was designed for exactly that. It fires on every completed order, including ones placed with no payment method whatsoever. The customer finishes checkout, taps the button, and you're talking — payment arranged the way you already do it.

And for stores that do take online payments, it layers on top without getting in the way. The button appears after payment too, so a paid customer can still drop you their order to coordinate delivery or after-sales.

It Never Fights Your Existing Flow

If you already send customers to a thank-you page, their order page, or your homepage after checkout, that doesn't change. Send Orders on WhatsApp adds a button to the order pages — it never hijacks your redirect, never replaces your payment process, and never sends anything on the customer's behalf without them tapping send. You stay in control of the checkout; you just gain a one-tap bridge into the channel where your customers actually talk to you.

Setting It Up

In your store admin, open Settings → Checkout and find Send Order to WhatsApp:

  • Switch on Enable WhatsApp Order Button
  • Enter your Store WhatsApp Number in international format (e.g. +971501234567)
  • Optionally add a Message Intro greeting line

Save, place a test order, and tap the button to see the exact message your customers will send. That's the whole setup — usually under a minute.

The Bottom Line

Conversational commerce isn't a trend you're waiting for; for many of your customers it's already how they buy. The question is whether each of those conversations starts with a clean, complete order or with a customer fumbling to describe what they want.

Send Orders on WhatsApp makes it the former, every time, with one tap and zero fees. It meets your customers in the channel they trust, hands you an accurate order, and leaves the rest of your checkout exactly as you built it. For a store that closes in chat, it's the difference between a channel that leaks orders and one that captures them perfectly.
