What Is MISpay?
MISpay is a Saudi buy now, pay later (BNPL) service, licensed by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and Sharia-compliant. Shoppers split a purchase into interest-free instalments, and the merchant is paid by MISpay. It works online and in physical stores.
How It Works for Your Customers
- The customer chooses MISpay at checkout.
- They complete the purchase on MISpay's checkout and pick their instalments.
- Once MISpay confirms the purchase, the customer returns to your store and the order is marked as paid.
Supported Regions and Currencies
MISpay serves Saudi Arabia and charges in Saudi riyal (SAR). If your store sells in another currency, Trinavo converts the order total into SAR using your store's exchange rates.
MISpay's minimum order is 145 SAR, so Trinavo shows MISpay at checkout only for orders of 145 SAR or more. Your maximum order amount depends on your agreement with MISpay.
Integration with Trinavo
MISpay is built into Trinavo's payment methods, so there is nothing to install and no code to write. You connect your own MISpay merchant account, and the payment goes straight from MISpay to you.
The integration covers:
- Checkout: MISpay appears as a payment option at your checkout for eligible orders.
- Payment confirmation: Trinavo confirms each payment through MISpay's notifications, the customer's return to your store, and regular status checks, so an order is not left pending if one of them is missed.
- Secure messages: the payment details MISpay sends back are encrypted with your App Secret, and Trinavo checks that they belong to the right order.
- Refunds: refund a MISpay order in full from your Trinavo dashboard.
- Sandbox mode: test with your MISpay sandbox credentials before going live.
Getting Started
- Join MISpay as a merchant: apply on the MISpay business page. MISpay gives you an App ID and an App Secret.
- Add your credentials: in your Trinavo dashboard, open Payment Methods, choose MISpay, and enter your App ID and App Secret. Keep Sandbox Mode on while you test with sandbox credentials.
- Send two links to MISpay: the MISpay settings in Trinavo show a Callback URL and a Webhook URL. Send both to the MISpay team so they can register them on your account. Until the Callback URL is registered, customers are not brought back to your store after paying, though Trinavo still confirms their payments.
- Go live: switch Sandbox Mode off and enter your production credentials.
