What Is Tpay?
Tpay lets your customers pay for their order straight from their mobile phone, without needing a bank card. The amount is taken from their mobile balance or their mobile wallet, and the customer simply confirms the payment with a short code sent to them by SMS.
This makes Tpay a good fit for markets where many shoppers do not have a credit or debit card, or simply prefer not to use one online. If your customer has a working mobile line, they can buy from your store.
Key Features
- Pay From the Mobile Balance: The order amount is charged to the customer's mobile line, so no card and no bank account are needed.
- Mobile Wallets: Customers can also pay from their mobile wallet where their operator supports it.
- Confirm by SMS Code: The customer receives a short code by SMS and enters it to approve the payment, which keeps every purchase confirmed by the phone's owner.
- Wide Regional Coverage: One integration reaches customers across the Middle East, North Africa and beyond, on the major mobile operators in each market.
- No Card Details to Handle: Your store never sees or stores any card information, because there is no card involved.
- Local Currency: The customer is charged in the currency of their own country, so there are no surprises at checkout.
- Refunds: Where the mobile operator allows it, refunds can be issued back to the customer's mobile line.
Supported Regions and Currencies
Tpay works with the leading mobile operators across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Iraq, Palestine, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Kenya and Sri Lanka. Each customer is charged in their own local currency.
The exact operators available to you depend on the markets your Tpay account is approved for, so you can offer this payment method only in the countries you actually sell to.
Integration with Trinavo
Trinavo provides a native integration with Tpay. To get started, add your Tpay keys in the Trinavo payment settings, enter the product catalog name that Tpay gives you, and tick the mobile operators you are approved for. You can keep separate test and live credentials and switch between them with a single toggle while you set things up.
Once configured, your customers see Tpay as a payment option at checkout. They choose their mobile operator, enter their mobile number, receive the confirmation code by SMS, and enter it to complete the order. The whole payment happens on your own store pages, so customers are never sent off to an unfamiliar website.
Trinavo also listens for payment confirmations from Tpay, so an order is still recorded correctly even if the customer closes their browser part way through.
Security and Compliance
Every request Trinavo sends to Tpay is encrypted and signed with your private key, and every payment confirmation coming back is checked against that same key before an order is marked as paid. Because the payment is approved with a code sent to the customer's own phone, only the person holding that line can authorize the charge.
Mobile operators in these markets set clear rules about how the charge must be presented to the customer, so Trinavo shows the amount and your support details plainly on the payment page before the customer confirms.
Getting Started

Then open payment settings in your Trinavo store, select Tpay, enter your keys, and choose the mobile operators you want to offer.
