XPay

Egyptian payment platform bringing cards, Fawry, and Valu together in one modern checkout

What Is XPay?

XPay is an Egyptian payment platform built for online businesses that sell to customers in Egypt. It brings the three things Egyptian shoppers actually reach for into a single checkout: international cards, the Fawry cash network, and Valu instalments. Instead of signing up with separate providers and stitching them together, you connect XPay once and offer all of them side by side.

XPay handles the whole payment journey, from taking the payment to managing the customer record, issuing refunds, and paying you out. Its checkout is modern, fast, and available in both Arabic and English, so it feels native to whoever is buying from you.

Key Features

  • One Checkout, Three Ways to Pay: Customers choose between paying by card, paying cash through Fawry, or splitting the cost with Valu, all from the same payment page. You do not manage three separate integrations.
  • Cards and 3D Secure: Accept Visa and Mastercard with 3D Secure authentication, so card payments are both widely accepted and properly protected.
  • Fawry Cash Network: Reach the large share of Egyptian shoppers who prefer to pay in cash. Customers receive a reference and settle their order at any Fawry point across the country.
  • Valu Instalments: Let customers spread the cost of larger purchases over time while you receive the full amount. This is a proven way to lift conversion and average order value on higher-priced items.
  • Arabic and English Checkout: The payment page follows the language your customer is already shopping in, which keeps the experience consistent from your storefront through to payment.
  • Branded Payment Page: Colours, fonts, spacing, and your logo can be tuned so the checkout looks like a continuation of your store rather than a detour.
  • Multi-Currency Support: Price and charge in Egyptian pounds or in a range of other currencies including US dollars, euros, British pounds, and the main Gulf currencies.
  • Refunds and Reporting: Issue full refunds and follow every transaction from your dashboard, with a clear record of what was paid, when, and how.

Reaching Every Egyptian Shopper

Egypt is a market where a single payment method is rarely enough. Plenty of customers pay by card, but a very large group either prefers cash or does not hold a card at all, and another group will only commit to a bigger purchase if they can pay for it in stages.

Offering only card payments quietly turns those customers away at the last step. XPay is useful precisely because it closes that gap in one move: card, cash, and instalments appear together, and the customer picks whichever one they were always going to use. For most Egyptian stores this is the difference between a browsing visitor and a completed order.

Supported Regions and Currencies

XPay is focused on Egypt and is a strong fit for any store selling to Egyptian customers, whether you are based there or shipping in. Egyptian pounds are the natural default, and additional currencies are available for stores that also price internationally. Which payment methods appear at checkout depends on what is enabled on your XPay account, so you can start with cards and add Fawry and Valu as your business grows.

Integration with Trinavo

Trinavo provides a native integration with XPay. Your store is ready for it out of the box: there is nothing to install, no developer to hire, and no custom work to commission. XPay is already part of the platform and simply waits for you to switch it on.

To connect it, open your payment settings, choose XPay, and enter the keys from your XPay account. You can keep separate test and live credentials and move between them with a single toggle, so you can try the whole flow end to end before your first real customer sees it.

Once configured, the integration takes care of everything behind the scenes. Your customer is sent to XPay's secure page, pays however they prefer, and comes back to your store. The order is confirmed automatically, and every payment appears in your Trinavo dashboard alongside your other connected gateways. If you need to refund an order later, you can do it from Trinavo without logging into a separate system.

You can also choose which payment methods to offer. If you are only onboarded for cards today, that is all your customers will see; enable Fawry or Valu with XPay later and they appear at checkout without any further work on your side.

Security and Compliance

XPay's hosted checkout keeps card details away from your store entirely, which removes a large part of the compliance burden that would otherwise sit with you. Payments are protected by 3D Secure authentication and encryption throughout.

Every payment result is confirmed through a signed, verified message sent directly from XPay to your store, so an order is only marked as paid once the payment has genuinely been confirmed. That holds true even if a customer closes their browser halfway through, and it means a payment page cannot be manipulated into marking an order paid when it was not.

Getting Started

Create an XPay account, then open payment settings in your Trinavo store and select XPay. Enter your keys, copy the notification address shown in the settings into your XPay dashboard so payment confirmations reach your store, and you are ready to take payments.

If you sell to customers in Egypt, XPay is one of the quickest ways to widen who can actually buy from you. Your Trinavo store is already prepared for it, so turning it on is a matter of minutes rather than a project.
