Steps in this tutorial
- Your store can talk to ChatGPT and Claude. Connect one, and you can ask it about your sales, your orders and your stock in plain words.
- You ask what you would otherwise go digging through reports for, and the answer comes back from your own figures.
- Open the Modules panel.
- Open the User Management group.
- Choose ChatGPT and Claude access.
- Nothing is connected yet. Everything you allow will be listed here.
- Press How to connect.
- This is your store address for ChatGPT and Claude. Copy it.
- This part happens inside ChatGPT or Claude: open its settings, add a connector, and paste your store address. If you get stuck, our team will do it with you.
- It then sends you back to your own store to approve it. Sign in with the same password you use for your control panel.
- Sign in to continue.
- This screen belongs to your store, not to ChatGPT or Claude. It says exactly what they will be able to read.
- Everything is shared unless you untick it. Customer names and phone numbers sit in their own box, so you can leave those out and share the rest.
- Whatever you share, ChatGPT and Claude can only read it. They can never change prices, orders, stock or settings.
- Press Approve, and it is connected.
- The connection is now on your list, with what it can read and when it was last used.
- And this is what an answer looks like: one question in your own words, answered from your live figures.
- You can end it whenever you like from the actions menu.
- It loses access straight away, on its very next question.
- That is your store connected to ChatGPT and Claude. Ask it anything you would otherwise go and look up yourself.
