Steps in this tutorial

1. In this tutorial, you will learn how to charge your vendors a monthly subscription. A vendor must subscribe before they can add products to your store.
2. From the sidebar, open Settings.
3. Open the User Registration settings.
4. Open User Registration Settings and turn on Require Vendor Subscription.
5. Set the grace period to zero so an unsubscribed vendor’s products are hidden right away.
6. Save your settings.
7. Open the Modules menu.
8. Go to Subscription Plans.
9. Click New Subscription Plan to add a plan.
10. Now create a subscription plan. Give it a clear name, like Vendor Monthly.
11. Set the monthly price you want to charge each vendor.
12. Tick this feature so the plan lets vendors create new products.
13. Save the plan.
14. Open the Modules menu.
15. Go to Users.
16. Click New User to add the vendor.
17. Next, create the vendor’s account with their name, email, and a password.
18. Open the Advanced tab and give this user the Vendor role.
19. Create the vendor account.
20. Now let us sign in as the vendor to see what they experience.
21. Open the Products page.
22. Without a subscription, the vendor cannot add any products yet. The store explains they need an active subscription.
23. The vendor opens the subscription page and subscribes to your monthly plan.
24. The fee is paid from the vendor’s wallet, and the subscription is now active.
25. Back in Products, the Add button is now available, so the vendor can add products.
26. The vendor fills in the product’s name, category, and price.
27. And saves the product.
28. The vendor’s product is now live on your store, ready for customers to buy. That is how you charge vendors monthly.
