Minimum Order Value

Steps in this tutorial

1. In this tutorial, we will configure a minimum order value. Customers below this amount will see a banner and cannot proceed to checkout until they add more items.
2. From the sidebar, click on Settings.
3. Open the Cart settings page.
4. The Behavior tab contains the Minimum Order Value field. The check is applied to the cart subtotal before any coupon discount.
5. This is the Minimum Order Value field. Setting it to zero disables the rule entirely.
6. Enter a minimum amount in your shop’s base currency. We will use a high value here so the banner appears in our demo cart.
7. Click Save to apply the new minimum.
8. Now let us visit the storefront and add a product to the cart to see the rule in action.
9. Click on a product to open its details page.
10. Add this product to the cart.
11. Now let us open the cart page.
12. The cart shows exactly how much more the customer needs to spend to reach the minimum order amount.
13. Notice the Continue to Checkout button is disabled until the customer reaches the minimum order value.
