Watch this tutorial to learn how to: Print Order Labels.
Steps in this tutorial
- In this tutorial we will print shipping labels for your orders, one at a time and for a whole batch at once.
- Open Orders from the side menu.
- These are your orders. Every one of them can have a label printed, even before you send it to a shipping company.
- Open the actions menu on the order you want to print.
- Choose Print Shipping Label. One entry, and the window asks which label you want.
- There are two labels. The shipping company waybill carries their own barcode, and it is greyed out here because this order has not been sent to a company yet, so the store label is chosen for you. It carries your order number.
- Pick an A4 sheet to print and cut, or a size for a label printer roll.
- Press Print and the file is ready. The label carries the order number as a barcode, the customer name, the phone, the address, and the amount to collect when the order is not paid.
- Now the quicker way. Tick the orders you want, and print all their labels together.
- Open the actions menu above the list.
- The same entry, now for everything you ticked, in one file.
- Choose the layout once, and it applies to the whole batch.
- One file with all the labels, so one person can send the orders while another prints them and puts them in the bags.
- The list can show you what has already been printed. Open the column switcher.
- Switch on the Label Printed column.
- Now every order says whether its label has been printed.
- The list also remembers what has been printed. Open the filters.
- Filter by Label Printed to see only the orders still waiting for a label.
- That is how you print shipping labels. One entry for both documents: send an order to a shipping company first and the same window offers their waybill instead, already selected for you.
