Steps in this tutorial

1. In this tutorial, you will see how customers book an appointment from your store, and how you confirm it. Our example store is a hair salon that offers a Haircut and Styling session.
2. From the store menu, the customer opens Products.
3. And opens the service page.
4. A bookable service shows an appointment picker instead of a quantity. The customer picks a day...
5. Let’s pick tomorrow.
6. ...then one of the available times. Times that are already booked are hidden automatically, so no double bookings can ever happen.
7. The selected time is confirmed on screen.
8. The customer adds the appointment to the cart.
9. The cart shows the appointment with its date and time. The quantity is always one per appointment.
10. Continue to checkout.
11. The customer fills in their contact details as usual.
12. And continues to payment.
13. They can pay online with any of your payment methods. In this example we choose Payment on Delivery, so the customer pays at the salon.
14. The order is placed, and the appointment now holds its time slot so nobody else can take it.
15. Back in your dashboard, the new appointment is already on the booking calendar, waiting for your confirmation.
16. Click the appointment and choose Confirm.
17. The appointment is confirmed, and the customer is notified. A reminder is also sent automatically before the visit.
