Steps in this tutorial

1. You have two honest ways to change stock now. This setting is how you make sure they are the only ways.
2. Open Modules and go to Settings.
3. Open the Settings group.
4. Click Inventory Settings.
5. Scroll down to Stock Changes.
6. This is on for every store, so nothing has changed for you until you decide otherwise.
7. Switch it off, and typing a quantity straight into a product is no longer possible.
8. Save the settings.
9. Now open any product to see the difference.
10. Click Products.
11. Edit the product you have been receiving and counting.
12. The quantity is on the Pricing and Inventory tab.
13. The quantity is now read-only, and it tells you where stock changes instead.
14. Now the path that is still open. Open Modules again.
15. Open the Inventory group.
16. Click Inventory Management.
17. The documented paths are untouched. Inventory Management still adjusts stock exactly as before.
18. From here on, every change to your stock carries a reason and a document behind it.
