Steps in this tutorial

1. Welcome to this tutorial on inventory tracking in your Trinavo Shop admin panel.
2. From the sidebar menu, click on Products.
3. Click the New Product button to create a product and explore inventory tracking.
4. Click the Pricing and Inventory tab to see inventory fields.
5. The Track Inventory toggle is enabled. This means the product quantity will be tracked.
6. Set the quantity to zero to simulate an out-of-stock product.
7. Save the changes.
8. The product has been saved. Let us check how it looks on the storefront.
9. The product now shows an Out of Stock badge because its quantity is zero.
10. The add-to-cart button is disabled. Customers cannot purchase this product.
11. Now let us disable inventory tracking by toggling it off.
12. With inventory tracking disabled, the quantity and backorder fields disappear. This product will always be shown as available, which is ideal for services or digital products.
13. Save the product with inventory tracking disabled.
14. The product is now available for purchase with no out-of-stock restrictions. The badge is gone and the add-to-cart button is active.
15. This is the Inventory Settings page where you can configure default behavior for all new products.
16. The Track Inventory by Default toggle sets whether new products will have inventory tracking enabled automatically.
17. You can also control how out-of-stock products appear on the storefront: show with a badge, or hide completely.
18. There is also a shortcut. Click the settings icon next to the Track Inventory toggle to change the default right from the product form.
19. This modal lets you change the default inventory tracking value for all future products without leaving the product form.
