Subscription Plans

Purpose

Subscription Plans are plans your store sells to your customers: a monthly membership, an annual club, a recurring box.

This is not your own Trinavo subscription. That lives under My Account, and is covered in My Account.

If your store does not sell memberships, you can ignore this group.

Subscription Plans

Click Modules → Subscription Plans → Subscription Plans

The Subscription Plans list

Click New Subscription Plan to add one. The form opens in a dialog over the list:

  • Name: what customers see
  • Interval (months): how often it renews. 1 for monthly, 12 for annual
  • Price: what it costs per interval
  • Sort Order: where it sits among your plans, lowest first
  • Active: switch a plan off without deleting it. Existing subscribers are unaffected
  • Featured: highlight one plan, the way pricing tables usually mark a recommended option
  • Description: what the plan includes
  • Features unlocked by this plan: what a subscriber gets

User Subscriptions

Click Modules → Subscription Plans → User Subscriptions

Who is subscribed to what, and since when. This is the list to check when a customer says they should have access to something and does not.

Retiring a plan

Switch off Active rather than deleting. Deleting a plan that people are subscribed to leaves those subscriptions pointing at nothing; switching it off stops new sign-ups while everyone already on it carries on.

  • My Account - your own Trinavo plan, which is a different thing
  • Users - the customers subscribing
  • User Levels - the other way to give customers different treatment
